Humpty Dumpty...

…went my potatoes! Will this week just be chock full of “embarrassing moments”?!?! This morning one of my co-workers and I decided to run over to the cafeteria in the “big house” (hospital) and get some breakfast. I had actually already had breakfast, but knew the cafeteria would be serving “potatoes”. Not just any ol’ potatoes, but diced up potatoes slightly grilled with seasoning on them…YUMMY!!! “Just a few won’t hurt”, I told myself, so away we went. Another co-worker wanted me to get her some too (she’s the one who got me hooked), so here I am in line with two bowls of potatoes. Yes, I could’ve gotten a tray. Yes, I could’ve asked my co-worker to carry one. Yes, I thought my hands were big enough to hold them. APPARENTLY NOT!!! I paid for them easily enough, rounded the corner to slap some saran wrap on them (so they wouldn’t get germs when we’re walking back through the hospital), and before I could get halfway to the little stand….crack!!! The cheap little Styrofoam bowls BOTH cracked where my thumbs were curled around the tops and potatoes went FLYING all over the floor!!! There were probably 5 or 10 people eating right n this area, and ALL of the just stared at me! So here I am, down on my hands and knees, IN DRESS CLOTHES, scraping potatoes in a pile, my face burning the entire time. I scooped them up, tossed them into the trash, grabbed what was left in the bowls and the new bowl of potatoes the sweet little cashier had gotten for me somewhere in the mix, wrapped them, grabbed forks, and booked it out of there!!! How embarrassing!!! I think I’m going to just stay in bed tomorrow!!!

None other than Tim Rivers - I looked down and this was sticking out on my side of the table at Steak-N-Shake - cracked me up!!! Even funnier was that you couldn't see the purple unless his shoes were off...I think he was ashamed. Teehee!!! Guys and their socks!!! Lol!
